Hill City Kid’s Choir
Thanks for joining us for our Winter 2024 Hill City Kid’s Choir! There is something powerful and special that happens when our children lead us into worship through song. The Bible uniquely commands us to sing. The Psalms especially remind us to sing loud, sing together, and sing often! Our hope is that the choir would draw the hearts of the congregation to sing in worship to our God who is worthy of all our praise. While we do this we are also praying that God would show our kids the importance of leading others into worship through song.
Below are resources to help the kids learn our two song: “O Come All Ye Faithful” by Bethel Music Kids, and “The First Noel” by Kingdom Kids. Our expectation is that the students will have both songs with the motions memorized by Sunday, December 15.
TIMES
2 MANDATORY REHEARSALS: December 1 + 8, 12:45pm - 2pm (Lunch is provided). Check-in in the basement.
December 15: 8am Call Time || Sing @ 9:15am and 11am Services || They will be released after they sing at the 11am service (around 11:15am) and you can choose to either pick them up or have them attend Sunday School.
COLOR DRESS CODE: On the 15th, wear something nice that has Red, White, or Black in it!
PRACTICE
For every day your child practices for 15 minutes (approximately singing each song twice), they will receive a ticket for a drawing to win a prize on December 15!!
